Hello again everyone

I have been really trying hard to get my Etsy Store "out" there and make some more sales I have listed to podcasts from The Quilted Cupcake she has some great ideas and I have taken notes and plan on following some of her ideas, thanks for that Jean.

I have come up with some new ideas for stock for both my Etsy store Neca's Nic Nac's as well as my stall at the Burnie Farmers and Craft Market which is on the 1st and 3rd (and 5th is applicable) Saturday of each month in Burnie, Tasmania.

So firstly I designed and made my Owl Clippie Holder ( for hanging all those gorgeous hair clips on) which you can see an example below then

came up with, in my opinion, the fantastic Fun Owl Tote pictured above. THEN I made the decision to not only sell the finished product in shop and stall, but to also sell the pattern so more people out there could indulge in their love of owls. Tote bag pattern is available in store and Clippie Hanger is in the process of refining the pattern ready for sale.

looks like its taken me a long time to get back into this blogging thing again. Lots have happened here at home. You can see that today is Nev and Is 2nd wedding anniversary, HE of course forgot but I think I may forgive him because hes feeling sick and had the day off work today.

We had a but of a breast cancer scare recently, but thankfully all turned out ok. I nearly felt guilty leaving some other women at the recall with not so good as my news. It was nice to have a night away with Nev but neither of us were feeling very relaxed and happy at the time.

I took part in the dust team swap again for June, I was thrilled (as was Tegan) with what I received and thankfully the person (Jennifer AKA Haffina) I sent to was also very happy with what I made her .

I made a fabric doll and a library bag for her little girl and she made me ,, well Tegan a lovelt pink bracelet and cool earrings and also sent a phone charm that I claimed before tegan could !!!

Well here it is a week after Marmalade joined our home and I am thinking he has settled in quite well, My allergies only play upp if I touch him and dont wash my hands straight away. He of course is well on the way to being the boss of the house.
This last week I have been working on an easter swap where you decorate and fill an egg carton with plastic eggs in which you put little gifts. I also participated in a "bit about me" swap which had me going way back and remembering childhood memories and events, and buying some Tassie souveniers to post to my partner in South Australioa, I received my swap today from a lady in New Zealand which was fun.

I have also been working on some journal pages which I really enjoy.

Well things have finally come to a head with the whole family drama thats been going on so if you need updating message me ok.

Today I am feeling sad and a bit scared , a very close frind of mine is having a lumpectomy today, I am hoping that it all goes well for her, just hate the waiting to hear I guess.

Another thing today my parents have headed off overseas, they have gone back to South Africa for another holiday and to see more of the counrty and for my Step father to play cricket again.

Neville has been delivering wood after work everyday this week and I am feeling like I have hardly seen him.

OHHHHHHHH Another thing this week,. Neville finally gave in and gave Tegan permission to get a cat. Well we visited the pound and she has chosen one, (Even I have to admit he is a cutie) he was having the necessary vitit to the vet yesterday and we pick him up on Friday, his name is/ was Jason............ now who calls a cat Jason, I swear the cat blushed when they told us his name,, of course he is going to be named something more masculine, cooler and darnright Cat like.......... Marmalade. ...........sigh, I was voting for Bax.

Really Bad Week

As some of you may know its been a pretty tough week for us this week and its no where near finished yet. I am hoping for more news on Monday and hopefully let me know that its over and I can STOP STRESSING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who wants more info on this can message me privately and I will let you know what been going on.

I have been taking part in a All Types Of ART A-Thon at www.atcsforall.com this weekend and have made several ATCs which hopefully I might get a trade or two out of, these 2 are a couple of the vintage type ones I made.

I have also been working on some vintage gift cards for another swap and loving making them, I do love the vintage theme.

Anyway thats it for today, I better go and pick up what I imagine to be a very tired girl angel, she has spent the day bowling, lunching and shopping with friends for 1 friends birthday. Oh to be 13 and have a social life :)

Here we go again its ages since I blogged, in the interim I have crafted heaps, done heaps of swaps one of my favourites was an altered jigsaw puzzle piece one. I made my pieces into magnets, and was really happy how they turned out.

I have also made a couple of pages for a fabric art journal round robin which have been a real challenge but at the same time, a ton of fun !!

Also been doing lots of journal page swaps and round robin, I love seeeing other peoples ideas and art ... well thats me for today, Hubb is taking me out for tea, only problem is we have i1 kid here so douses the romance hahaha.. C arol xxx

Well what happened to this year here it is Jan 30th already !!!!!!!! AND I havent blogged once, bad bad me :)

I have no excuses except maybe a lack of enthusiasm , been having a few dc visits and changing of medications and all that fun stuff so I have been having some "off" time .

Today we are having a BBQ to celebrate my birthday early, yay me . Nev turned 51 on the 20th Jan , he let that slide fairly quietly whereas I just love my birthday, so I am celebrating with friends tonight. cant wait might even invite that bottle of wine thats been in the fridge since Christmas hehehe

Also today i joined A Thing A Day, http://thing-a-day.com/, apparently you make 1 thing every day in Feb, I prob will make it to the 2nd or something lol but I am going to have a go at it.

Wedding Anniversary

Well we made it to our 1st wedding anniversary lol, wasn't that hard although you better not ask Nev LOL

We didn't do anything special for the day , my kids were home and Nevs son was here for the weekend so we didn't have any "our" time but maybe one day they will all leave home and we will be alone hahahaha I live in hope. LOL

I have been ATC making recently although I think my muse has left home instead of the kids lol Oh I wish I were an artist. Although on the up side I put some cards in my gallery on Atcs For All website and got several requests for trades, soooooooo maybe I AM an artist lol

Christmas is only 39 days away, how exciting is that, I have nearly finished my shopping, Nev and I are going to Hobart tomorrow, just for the day I have a doc appointment, 4 hours there and back it will be a long day but I am planning on buying Boy Angels prezzie ( a welder) dont tell him !!! lol he knows we are getting it, he has been welding at school and loves it so looks like he will be welding everything around home too. Girl angel wants a digital camera, darn it so did I but then realised if I get her one thats better than mine, I can borrow it .......... save me some money. Ive gotten Nev the second season of Ice Road Truckers series. He's going to love that.

Here I am sitting here missing my Hubby, He has gone to Strahan to work this week but on the bright side he will be home tomorrow YAY I miss him.. On the downside it sounds like he will be probably going back there next week, darnit.

Good news is I have been Christmas shopping and have I found some bargains?? YES I did, I am at least 1/2 way thru the shopping now Yay ME!!!!!!!!! :)

While Nev has been away I have been making some beautiful Christmas Tree decorations I have them for sale in my etsy store

Here it is over a month since I blogged, damm lazy I say!!!!!!!

Since last blog Girl Child turned 13, how scary is that!!!!!!! of course she thinks she is all grown up now and should be able to do as she pleases , , HAHAHA NOT For her birthday we took her and a friend to launceston shopping for the day, she got to spend all her birthday money and Nev and I had a bit of a wander around the shops and of course had to slip out to Bunnings for a browse, Hungry Jacks for lunch and made our way home via more shops in Devonport :)

Craft wise, I have been making Christmas decorations, Christmas journalling , Christmas cards and generally thinking CHRISTMAS.......... only 72 days people !!!!!!! amazing eh.

I see also from my ticker up the top of the blog Nev and I have been married 11 months today ... and they said it wouldn't last !!!!!!!!!! No not really alls good in the Jackson household :)

Well til next time, I am off to Wynyard to pick up a friend and we are going bush to Milabeena to visit another friend, been a long time between get togethers and I am looking forward to it. Byeeeeeeeeee

Hello again, I got a letter from the hospital on Friday and I am booked in for my shoulder op on the 6th of July, which is great in the respect of FINALLY I get it fixed but ohhhh noooooooo in the respect of I am heading to Queensland on the 28th.

The surgeon told me that shoulder surgery is one of the most painful and slowest recovery period as any orthopedic surgery. Oh great how good is that. Oh well we will just take each day as it comes, I will be stashing up on pain killers to take with me. The girls have assured me they will give me lots of TLC.

Nothing will stop me getting on that plane, I can't wait for the break.

We live in Burnie which is a city but by world standards Id say it’s a small city with a population of 19,030. We are buying our own home.

Scary but Good news

I got a phone call the other day to let me know I could go into hospital on the 16th April to have my shoulder done. ( for those that don't know I (apparently) have a spur growth on my shoulder that points itself into the tendons of my arm causing a lot of pain) I have been waiting over 2 yours to get this done, my original surgeon left Burnie and now there is apparently some locums here to do some catch up surgeries. I am off today to meet my new surgeon and then next Thursday I go "under the knife" I actually am quite scared about the whole thing. But hey, Imagine the crafting I can do with a "good" shoulder lol.

A Day Out

Yesterday Saturday the 28th March Neville and I took Ryan and Tegan for a drive and a day out we went to railton, the town of Toparies, there were some beautiful designs, even if they do cheat a bit and use frames to grow the trees around and trimmed. We then went to latrobe which is an antiquey type town, checked out some cool shops then went into Devonport for lunch at KFC (ooops there went the diet!!) We wandered around another antique shop in Devonport and then started for home, stopped at Ulverstone for coffee and cake, drove through Penguin and then home. I felt exhausted, I was tired from driving and all I wanted to do was have a lay down for 1/2 an hour and Neville persuaded me to go with him to get a load of firewood, (I hate woodcutting, with a passion) but being the dutiful wife I am (pmsl) went with him.

I really cannot get into this blogging regularly thing, can I?

Blossom had her 3rd litter of babies on Monday in the pouring rain, wind blowing a gale and sooo cold.

She deliverd 4 little cuties

they are really sweet arent they. ahhh maybe I am just a guinea pig freak.

At SWAPBOT I joined a strip quilt round robin, this means that each person makes a calico strip with either applique, embroidery or whatever on it, joined to a coloured strip in their colour scheme and then posts that off to the next person, In the end you get back a single bed sized quilt piece back, with a strip of everyones work, its so exciting I have done my first strip and my theme is black and white and................... yep you guessed it, Guinea Pigs :) I will def post pics when that gets home to me.

I am also in a Journal round Robin, a Recipe journal round robin and Tegan has joined a kids journal round robin...... whew lots of journalling going on here.

MY CAR PORT IS FINISHED........ YAY and it poured with rain on Monday and Tuesday and my car was all nice and dry underneath, its nice when its raining to be able to get from the car to the house and not get wet. Thanks to Neville for being Husband of the Year and building it for me :)

Well there you go I had a birthday and I am no older!!!!!!! can you imagine how stupid I was, all last year Ive been saying I am 46 and will turn 47 in Feb 09, weeeeeeeeeeell as it turns out, I only turned 46 this year, so Happy Birthday To Me!!!!

Speaking of Birthdays, my sweet little girl angel organised a surprise BBQ for me at Ang's house, We arrived there after picking Ryan up from the farm and here were cars I recognised !! what a lovely evening we all had.

Then the next week we went up to Milabeena to a girlfriends for a BBQ for her birthday. Lots in my family and friends birthdays in Jan and Feb.

I have opened an Etsy Shop today and listed some book sacks and some envelopes will be listing more as time moves along.

LOL so much for my big brag I was going to blog more often HAHA Yeah sure carol.

Anyway whats been happening, Tassie in in ythe grips of a heat wave, its so dammed hot here. Well its hot everywhere but we are sooooo not used to it here in Tassie.

Nev started building the carport and the other day I was going to pick up the kids and my car was in a different spot so wjhat did I do but drove a tad too close to the house and put a nice little dent in the car, (not to mention the house :)) I went inside and told nev he just gave me a hug and said hey dont worry it could have been worse. Its bad enough tho $700 for a small dent to be fixed, grrrr. In my next life i want to be a panel beater :)

My Kids havent gone back to school yet. Spending a huge amounyt I have them ready to go, Tegan starts grade 7 on Monday..... my baby in High School !!!!!!! and Ryan starts grade 9 on Wednesday . Ryan said to me the other day, Hey mum do you realise next year I will have my "Ls" now THATS Scary.

Well after fining out the car was going to cost lots and lots of $$$$ to get fixed apparently pistons and other important things were bent and broken, apparently the timing belt broke, which I have now learnt IS NOT a good thing.

Nev decided we should buy a new (well new for us) car so we went looking on Thurs afternoon around all the car yards in Burnie only found 1 he kinda liked so we went back Fri morning (19th Dec) and took it for a test drive, nev said it had a knock in the steering, me ?? , so we went to Shearwater to have a look at a private one from the paper, Nev fell in love with the car AND the price and I ended up driving my new car home YAY.

On the 29th december Nev went back to work and I called him to let him know that our fridge died. sighhhh what else can possibly go wrong next. Nev decided the best thing to do would be go buy a new fridge so he brought one home on Wed.

I have decided that all out bad things happened in 2008, not all bad off course because we had our wonderful wedding. but 2009 Is not going to be a bad year. Things WILL go our way,,, pleaseeeeeeee.

Well here it is Christmas is over and I didnt make a post sorry!!
Its been a pretty eventful (read expensive) time here lately.

On the 17th of Dec I headed off to take the kids to the airport to go to melbourne to meet their dad and then go to new Zealand.
Ahh the best intentions..........

We left home with an hour to spare, I thought we could have an easy trip and would have spare time if we had a puncture or anything, what I didnt plan on was my car dying completely, totally,, DEAD. We just got around the roundabout at Howth and PftPft it went and then nothing...... I pulled over, checked the petrol :) and tried to start it,, nothing.

Hmmm time to start thinking, ok I will ring my best frind in Wynyard ask her to come get us, take us to Devonport where i would grab a rental. PLAN A

Ang said she would come, I spent ages on the phone calling directory assistance to get car rental places numbers and calling them, could you believe that there was NOT ONE rental car available in devonport that day. I tried to call Nev but he wads working out of phone range. I called my mum, just for some advice really, she suggested my SIL who lives at Turners Beach, so I tried her and asked how she felt about a trip to Launceston this afternoon!!!

Thankfully Jodi said no prob and we got Ang to drop us there and Jodi took us to the airport in Launceston. All panicing slightly we arrived 10 mins after we were supposed to and the plane was 50 minutes late. soooooo thankfully we sat had a calming drink, I gave the kids big hugs ( to their huge embarasment!!) and said goodbye.

Got back to jodis and Nev was there waiting for me, I had managed to get thru to him at some stage in the afternoon. he took me back to where I had left the car and we then towed it home, what an absolutely awful trip, its horrible being towed, horrible!!!

Home at 9.30 pm nev cooked tea while I sat at the table shell shocked. hes a wonderful man.

This is us signing the register, I look so happy, I guess thats because I am, very happy.

The thing is, neville hardly smiles in any pics but then neville hardly smiles in public anyway :)

The day turned out perfect, see the sun shining, well you wouldnt believe it was absolutely bucketing down an hour before, everyone wanted me to change venues and I stood firm and said NO I want to be married at Oldina, its where we met and we want to make our vows there. God must have agreed cuz,,,, it stopped raining :)

Well here it is, the 14th of November and we get married tomorrow !! How exciting is that................... OK its very very exciting.

This past week has been just a bit of a blur really, I wrote a list last weekend and every day had things to do on it.

Monday I made some phone calls and dyed my hair,
Tuesday my bestest friend Mappy came over and we discussed wedding stuff, she is making a bit of a speech before the ceremony, before we arrive. Wednesday I went house work mad, dusted, vaccuumed cleaned, tidied became very domesticated, so not like me !!
Thursday I had to go to the school for a P&F meeting, which involved the president suprising everyone with his resignation, leaving me as sec and a vice pres as the only executive officers left. I am thinking that this might see the end of P&F. Then I did the school banking because I was rostered on.
Friday, tegan had a hair cut, we came home and I made a comb to wear in my hair then Ryan came home from school and we went to the Golf Club to set up for the reception. Mum and Trisha(my sister) and Jessica(my niece) came to help as well as Mappy, we set tables, blew up balloons and Ryan was great at putting the balloons up high. the room looks fantastic, i am really happy with how it turned out. Nev went to Smithton after work to pick up his kids for the weekend. so now we are just sitting, I feel like I should be in bed :) I am so tired.

I guess thats it for now I will post more and some pictures after the wedding :)

Well here I am and its 40 days til we say I Do, Nev says oh yeah , I say , you don't look stressed, he says, whats there to be stressed about. oh I do love him. Some days I could probably kill him but that soon passes and I just want a cuddle from him, hes my great big teddy bear. I am sure he feels the same way about me too , the killing bit not the teddy bear bit lol.

We often say that we are the most luckiest people in the world to have each other. I wish he was more romantic and then out of the blue he suprises me by saying amazing things like, when we were writing the wedding vows, I had writtten as long as we both shall live and he said no, why should it end there write, for this life and beyond. And I say hes not romantic!!!!!

He is the best thing in my crazy upside down roller coaster life. And the best part....................... he says the same about me!!

Last week, Panda finally had her babies, she had 4 of the little squeakers!!

Hi Ho Its Me again!!

Isn't this CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Havent done a lot this week but will show you some stuff I have done for the wedding. I bought this gorgeous cake topper from "spotlight" for $17.95, the same thing on eBay for $40.!! Imagine.!!

My Sister Trisha had one very similar for her wedding in Jan but her "bride" had blonde hair.

I have made our order of service phamplets to give the guests at the ceremony, these are quite small with a silver printed vellum front and a gorgeous "Heart" brad holding them all together. I am really happy with how they turned out.

I also have made these bombonieres. These little packs of lollies I got at the discount store for 40 for $2.00. Then I made the covers and covered each and every one, each guest will have on in their place setting I made 60 of them so I guess they cost about $4.00 all up.

I also made the guest book, I got one of those cardboard scrapbooking books and covered each page with weddingish paper. All in all , that side of things is going remarkedly well.

As for the "other" side , well we had a bit of a dispute with Nevs mum this week which has left us both feeling really bad, She was just trying to have control I guess and said if we didnt invie blah blah, well she wouldnt come. initially I was of the opinion, oh well sorry you wont be there but then stopped , she IS Nevs mum and he would hate it if she wasnt there so, we gave in. Its just that we hate the fact that basically she blackmailed us. grrr. Doubt Nev will ever forget this tho............

Well its only a week since I have been on here, school hols are nearly over now much to boy angels disgust, he is not looking forawrd to going back to school. Of course Girl angel cannot wait, its the social thing I think although she sure loves to learn as well.

8 weeks from tomorrow and its the wedding, I cant even manage to be excited at the moment, I am having a terrible "down" time, am thinking of upping the pills, might just see how I go for the next week, may need to visit my GP again.

The wedding planning is about at a standstill, girl angel and my mother, both seem to think I need to carry a bouquet, I am undecided on that one.

if I could have a nice bunch of freesias I would but they would be finished by then. Will wait and see how I feel closer to the time.

I have been doing a few swaps lately These inchies are ready for the 3rd swap in a lot of 5 swaps for the inchies alphabet, its fun thinking of something that I can put on a 1 inch square.

We, kids and I went to visit my brother ,SIL ,niece and nephew yesterday, Nicole had her 14th birthday last week and I wanted to see her for that, Tom is about 15 months now and a real cutie. I made sausage rolls, cuz they all love my sausage rolls and SIL made some yum savouries and we had a lovely lunch. Was good to catch up with them, we dont see them very often.

Well as I told you earlier, we set the date for our wedding, we are getting married on November the 15th, at Oldina Forsetry Reserve at 4pm, then the reception is going to be at the Burnie Golf Club , with Elvis playing the music. Now how many people can say they are having Elvis play at their wedding??? LOL I can, seriously thats his name, maybe his mum was a huge fan!!!!!!!!

Today Girl Angel and I had the best of luck we went shopping to change the shirt we had bought nev for the wedding, I got one that was too big. Well we had a bit of time so we went to Payless shoes and there they were.......... nice black sandles IN MY SIZE!!!!! needless to say I bought them, we then went to Kmart, and looked for a dress for Girl Angel, and look we did, but can you believe this I said ok theres nothing here turned a corner and there it was,,,, the perfect dress for her, we went and she tried it on and IT FIT,,,, it was just OUR day for wedding shopping.
Speaking of clothes for the wedding , I made a start on my top, and OMG I hate it, it makes me look as big as 3 barns, I wont wear it, Ill have to come up with something else, its a waste of approx $35 for fabric , but I dont care, I hate it!!!!!!!!
School hols here. been pretty laid back, nev has had this week off work and we have had his son for the week. Boy Angel has spent a few extra days up on the farm so hes been happy and girl angel spent a few days with a friend of hers at my mums.

Since last time I have been doing stuff for the wedding, I will post some pics next time of what I've been up to.

This is a needle felted pin cushion that I made last week. I am pretty addicted to needle felting, thanks to Niss fo sending me the gear to do it.

This pin cushion is made on cream felted jumper, then the flower is also a different colour felted jumper, and the centre is the same as the cream base. it looks so cool, I really like it although I will probably send it to someone on swap bot.

This one is also from the AFA site and is called Recycle It Again, the rule was you had to make the ATCs using old calendar, greeting cards etc.

hi I am back, Ive been busy sending out tags and swaps this week.

I love the Aussie group wishlist, Ive really enjoyed making up these little gifts.

I am also hosting my first swap at ATCs For All, its a "Feeling Puzzled" swap each ATC has to have a puzzle piece on it, I thought it would be fun but now I find its turned into a real challenge, the other people in the swap are saying the same thing. At ATCs For All, you have to have certain amount of feednback before you can host and for your first swap it can only be a 3 for 3 swap with 12 participants. But it will be great to see what everyone comes up with.

Only 6 days

Only 6 days since I was here last, I am doing so well. Hmm my mum always told me that self praise was no recommendation, but I think, hey someones gotta do it , right?

In the last 6 days, what been happening, I have been crafting of course, like there is anything else do to !!

I made a cute bag out of a pure wool jumper I bought at the op shop which I felted then needle felted, then I lined it and made the strap, it looks pretty cool if I do say so myself, (theres that self praise thing again).

I finally (lol) got the Round Robin, Box of Goodies from our Aussie swap-Bot group, wow that was fun, the picture shows 1/2 of what was in it when I got it, i took out what I wanted and it was empty!!! no not really I took out what I wanted then added the goodies I had bought for it and sent it on its way to ozrob, who started the box.

Ozrob is going to start another box soon, I will be in that round robin too, what fun!!!

Well what else is new?? Ahh wedding Plans well the caterer is finalised (yay) at only $25 a head for a roast medley and a selection of sweets, i am impressed.

Venue Booked, Balloons bought, rings ordered, music on the way. its slowly coming together.

Well lookee there, Here I am again!!!

Today I took Boy Angel to Wynyard to his farm job experience thingie, I visited my bestest friend and of course we talked weddings, weddings, weddings, OHHHHHHHHH but of course, I havent told you. We set a date!!! but I cant tell you when, because one of the groups I am in on Swap-bot is running a guessing competition to pick the date, Soooo I can let you know at the end of the month. Clue,,,, its this year!!!

So anyway after a discussion on table decorations, table cloths etc etc, Girl Angel and I went to Woolies to shop for an inside BBQ we are having tonight for Boy Angels 14th Birthday (which is Monday)

so hard to believe it was 14 years ago I was waddling around with the giant watermelon, then at 2.22pm on Thursday the 11th Aug 1994 I gave birth to the gorgeous boy, who weighed in at a neat 10lbs !! yup he was my first...

Its been a month !!!!!!!! here it is 08/08/08, the eighth of the eighth two thousand and eight, thats a lot of eights. happy birthday to anyone having one today!!

Well ok I guess you probably havent noticed but its been a month since I have ummmm errr blogged, so much for my big promise that I would blog weekly. bad bad me

I have been doing lots of stuff, craft related of course :0 and family related, I seem to spend a lot of my time arguing with Boy Angel at the moment, he went to Ben Lomand (Ski mountain) at the weekend with Scouts and came home very tired, Monday night he had first aid, Wednesday night he had Scouts, by Thursday night he was horrid, I spent most of the evening yelling it seemed. it was awful, I hate it all soo much. please tell me that Girl Angel wont do this too me :(

FELTING, wonderful Niss from Swap-bot sent me the beginnings of my new favourite craft, I made this bag for my SIL for christmas all out of an old woolen jumper which I felted and then needle felted the pic on a piece and stitched on. I love it !! (Yes it IS a cow)

Seems like a couple of days since I was here but actually its more like 2 weeks, So I will try an make the effort to post Each Wednesday, hahaha ok I did say try.

This card is done for a character swap, the deal was the card had to have a character, 1 bow, 2 flowers, 3 colours not inc skin and 4 embellishments, I had fun with this one.

Last Friday N and I went to Launnie again, we took the old motor out of the cruiser to the place where he bought the new motor, went

to our fav fish and chip shop in Kings Meadows and of course to Bunnings :)

These cards are 4 of the 8 I did for a "Not another Disney" swap at ATCS for All.
I really love the way the door knob from Alice In Wonderland turned out.

On Sunday Boy Angel went to a farm near Wynyard to do some work experience, he had a great time but was totally exhausted when we went to pick him up, went to bed at 8pm and I

had to wake him at 7 the next morning.

Girl Angel spent most of Sunday asleep in bed with a tummy virus thingie.

The weather here has been totally awful the last few days, wet, wild and windy, ewww I hate it.

I am drying the washing in front of the heater, lounge looks like a chinese laundry.

On the plus side, I cant get out so I am crafting more and more, I recently finished a swap from ATCs For All of SUNFLOWERS, one of the cards I did, I was sooo proud of that I couldnt bear to part with it, Ill stick a pic in here, it really probably isnt much but I felt so proud of me when I finished it :)

N and I went to Launnie on Monday for a drive and to see if we could get a part for the new motor for the Cruiser, which we couldnt, but we had a nice day, spent together.

Thats about all for now I think, nearly the end of the tax year which means I may have a few extra $$ soon, I love tax time :) I can buy some more art supplies and STAMPS for that blasted overseas postage!!!!

Oh how I love swap-bot, what would I do all day if I didnt have my cards etc to work on.
I am in several groups and feel like I am part of a family, especially in the Aussie Swappers and the Aus and NZ Gals group.
I have learnt so many new techniques and have improved so much in my art, ART!! that seems so funny saying that, I get some wonderful comments on my work, it really makes my day. sometimes my week!!!
I look through my flicka and see some of what Ive done and I think, wow thats good, sad isnt it!? lol

BTW the babies are growing up so fast, Blossoms babies are 15 days old now and Pandas are 10 days old, and they have about doubled in size :)

Well so much for a sleep in I was awake before 7am, gee I hate that!!!!
Did some washing and general housework. DOH asked if we wanted to go somewhere so we ended up driving to the next city and buying hungry Jacks for lunch :), I also managed to incorporate a buying trip for craft items into the day.

www.swap-bot.com is a fun swap site where you can join groups for group swaps or one on one swaps.
www.atcsforall.com is another great swap where people host swaps and all players send to them and then they return all the cards out to all players. I have sent in about 7 of these swaps but as yet havent received any.

In the beginning

I have been swapping for about a month now and see a lot of people have blogs so I thought maybe I should have one too.
Today Friday the 16th of May, is the beginning of my blog.

A bit of background about me :
I am a 45 years old woman, named Carol, Live with my DOH (Dear Other Half) and my 2 angels, Boy Angel aged 13 (and forgetting he is supposed to be an angel lately) and Girl Angel aged 11.

We Live in Tasmania in a city called Burnie. BA is in grade 8 at high school and GA is in grade 6 in primary school.
